lil baby did and interview for the “the experienced podcast with big loon” earlier this week, having revealed he charges some where in the range of 250,000$ and 350,000$ for guests to feature on his open verses. just because our value is less then, yesterday doesn’t mean we cant be worth more the next day we wake up. in just two years its seems lil baby’s prices has nearly tripled with his album “my turn” having been a chart topping record has solidified his value in the music industry. and once you’ve made a chart topping record. you then have the choice to up your price. some people keep their prices low to work with newer artists. but some times when we’ve made serous achievements in our career its best to realize your own value and ask more for your services and products. two years ago he tweeted “at this point its safe to say i want 100K for a feature”
having realized his value a while ago he sees his albums keep moving up the charts. and as he realizes his numbers he’s realizing his worth.
lil baby has made it clear he doesn’t really be doing features any more. but he did mention when he isnt working on full albums and projects, he’d consider doing features but for the fair price of 200k- 350k$.
for just a 27 year old, he’s already been crowned ASCAP’s song writer of the year, for the second consecutive year since this last summer.
NOW thats growth and THATS value !
