ON WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY STYLES P TALKS ABOUT DAUGHTER’S DEATH

Styles P spoke up about his daughters death back in 2015 to shed light on World Mental Heath Day having said recognizing mental health signs is harder then People want to admit. on October 10 he was on The Message on apple music and opened up about his grieving experience.
“i’ve lost my daughter to suicide” Styles P had said ” and thinking about mental health, i probably look at it differently from most people. she didn’t have signs. didn’t see it, didn’t know. she never had no attempts. most people don’t know how other people feel

As he continued: “really, at the end of the day, even mental health specialists, even the experts, a lot of people don’t go around asking people how they feel or expressing how they feel. and with understanding that, like you said, I’m pretty sure most mental health experts have to go through some sort of specific training or class to keep their mind state intact.

“i think the average individual doesn’t look at their own life, what they’re going through. and measure it on their own scale without comparing it to someone else, and how they feel, and what’s going on, and what they should do, what they should not do, and what makes them tick. a lot of us aren’t in touch with ourselves to even be mentally healthy.”

Styles Ps daughter had taken her own life back on july 27, 2015.
styles having said:
“i rarely speak on my personal issues and i usually express my pain through my music but today i will share a little with you, my daughter took her life and there are no words to describe the day to day pain we have to endure and maintain through but in dealing with pain you find yourself dealing with the creator and asking questions and going through emotions most would not understand”

i for one understand the day to day struggle of dealing with mental health and maintaining the pain while trying to function in life. after having been diagnosed with bipolar and having gone through a large regimen of medication. nothing has helped “cure” my mental health. i learn to see it is a life long struggle and 90% of us deal with some sort of mental health issues even in the smallest manor. how ever most of us don’t get the honor of learning our own emotions entirely. so we cope day to day and struggle to know our selves from the inside out.

metal health is an ongoing crisis, the best thing we can do is try to think about it daily, what makes us tick, what makes us uncomfortable, and how your own emotions make us feel. the more we stay conscious of our thoughts and emotions, the more we can teach our selves healthy coping mechanisms. after years of medication i have learned i can control my own emotions better with out the medication and a WHOLE lot of positive thinking. nothing will ever cure our mental health issues but staying conscious of it can help us in the long run. #WorldMentalHealthDay (oct 10th)
